Meaty Hash Brown Casserole
This is the hash brown lover's greatest treat. The creamy cheesiness combined with the meaty flavours make this a great family casserole.

5 medium potatoes, grated
4 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded (400g)
1 spicy smoked sausage (like chorizo), sliced
1 oil for frying
1 sachet of brown onion soup
2 cups cheese sauce
2 cups grated cheese
Other herbs and spices: Garlic, Parsley, Cayenne pepper, to your taste
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Lightly spray a 25×25 cm pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large skillet, cook smoked sausage in a little bit of oil over medium-high heat for 5 to 8 minutes, until the sausage is almost crispy.
In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, smoked sausage, onion soup, cheese sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic, parsley, cheese and grated potato.
Scoop into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour.
