Nut Butter, Banana, Protein Ice Cream

Peanut butter, banana, protein ice cream - The Night Kitty

Guilt free, high protein, healthy ice cream. You can use any flavour protein powder that you like. I've had great results with the following protein powder flavours: chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, peanut butter.

10 minutes to prep. Serves 10.


  • 5 medium bananas, peeled

  • 5 tbsp peanut butter, or other nut butter

  • 3 servings of protein powder (mixed with water or milk as indicated)

  • 1 tbsp sweetener of choice

  • 1 cup plain Greek yoghurt or vegan yoghurt

  • A pinch of cinnamon and ginger

  • Optional: chocolate chips and/or chopped nuts


  1. Combine the banana, protein powder mixture, peanut butter, sweetener, yogurt, cinnamon and ginger in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Add any optional extras like nuts or chocolate chips

  3. Place the mixture in an air tight container.and freeze for 4 hrs.
