Nut Butter, Banana, Protein Ice Cream
Guilt free, high protein, healthy ice cream. You can use any flavour protein powder that you like. I've had great results with the following protein powder flavours: chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, peanut butter.
10 minutes to prep. Serves 10.
5 medium bananas, peeled
5 tbsp peanut butter, or other nut butter
3 servings of protein powder (mixed with water or milk as indicated)
1 tbsp sweetener of choice
1 cup plain Greek yoghurt or vegan yoghurt
A pinch of cinnamon and ginger
Optional: chocolate chips and/or chopped nuts
Combine the banana, protein powder mixture, peanut butter, sweetener, yogurt, cinnamon and ginger in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add any optional extras like nuts or chocolate chips
Place the mixture in an air tight container.and freeze for 4 hrs.
